The strong continue to get stronger, and with another free-agent signing, the Clippers are proving to be a destination.

Friday, the Clippers agreed to terms with forward Kenyon Martin, who recently returned from a stint with the Xinjiang Tigers in China and picked the Clippers over suitors like the Lakers, the Heat, the Spurs and the Hawks.

"Kenyon is the ultimate competitor and a key acquisition," Clippers general manager Neil Olshey said. "We expect that he will provide additional experience, passion and professionalism, as well as some important depth to our front court."

Prior to the signing, Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro was asked if he dreaded having to assimilate yet another player into his system.
