Police probe homicide; family mourns ex-NBA player (AP) Memphis police say they are investigating the discovery of a body that family members have said is missing NBA player Lorenzen Wright as a homicide. Police have not confirmed that identity. The body was found Wednesday in a wooded area in southeast Memphis. Sports) The Clippers made their free agency splashes on July 8 with three signings to bolster their bench for the 2010-11 season. The Clippers signed former Minnesota teammates Randy Foye and Ryan Gomes along with Brian Cook, who will be returning to the Los Angeles area.
The team also made sure that bruising interior stalwart Craig Smith would be around for the next season after re-upping with him on July 19.
Foye previously paired up with Gomes in Minnesota before being traded to Washington last season and averaging 10.1 points and 3.3 assists in 70 appearances there. He was signed to a two-year deal worth around $8 million and can help out in the backcourt with his earnest defense and long-distance dialing.
